Hotels FAQ » Hotel Accommodation » Grenada guest house?
Question:
I’ll be staying a few days in Grenada next January at the end of a windjammer cruise and want to stay in St. George’s proper. I’ve seen recommendations for Bailey’s Inn, St. Ann’s Guest House, and Tropicana Inn. Any opinion on these, or do you have a recommendation? I want island accommodation, a small place, clean, comfortable, convenient, inexpensive to moderate in price. Many thanks. Harlan
Response:
I ate at the Tropicana. Food is okay. I must have hit it on a bad day, because most of the people I talked to (Grenadians) said they liked the food there, as compared to some other nearby places. Location is very convenient; you can walk almost anywhere in town from there. I believe the hotel is on the Carenage, or very near to it.
