Hotels FAQ » Hotel Accommodation » Gold Coast Visit in Dec
Question:
Previous 2 visits were tour packages. Planning trip for family on my own this time. Intend to connect from Gold Coast (Coolangatta) to Sydney and then onto Melbourne by air. Have searched some web pages on airfares but could the fares be lower for "last minute" tickets – is there such a thing? Would appreciate help.

Generally speaking – the answer to this question is no. The "lowest" fares are usually announced as a promotion every now and then by the airlines and require advance booking -(14 days). They are also restricted in the number of seats available on any one flight and return fares "usually" require you to be away from home on a Saturday night . Just very recently, with the announcement of cheap 1 way fares by Virgin Airlines, Australias’ 2 major airlines have also announced cheap 1 way fares. These fares do away with the need for the Saturday Nigtht condition – but still require 14 days advance booking and limited seat availibility. You should check out Qantas and Ansett websites. there is such a thing for hotel accommodation if you need to book any rooms- www.wotif.com is very easy to use, easy to compare prices (both between rack and discount rates and between hotels), very convenient and cheap!!! Have a look- I use it heaps. * Sent from AltaVista http://www.altavista.com Where you can also find related Web Pages, Images, Audios, Videos, News, and Shopping. Smart is Beautiful
