Try the Curzon Hotel at Earl’s Court. It’s more of a hostel/dorm with 4-6 people per room. Around 15-20 pounds/night. CL

The Limegrove Hotel , 101 Warwick Way near Victoria. A single is 24-26 pounds with a good breakfast included. My room had a bed, table and chairs, TV, sink and fridge, a teakettle, and a closet and drawers. Tell her Donna with the jewelry sent you. Donna

London has some great B&B places to stay We are an Airport transfer service, and we Have a lot of association with B&B houses especially in South East London, (Bromley & Chislehurst). We do a lot of work for this place http://www.uk-expo.com/bnb/ Having personally shuttled the people staying at these houses, talked to them, and having seen the Houses as well, I dont think you could do better. I might just add we are nothing to do with this company other than we take their clients to/from airports in london. For the cheapest airport transfers around, Anywhere in london from the 3 major airports for GBP30:00 (Thirty pounds) check out http://www.proteus.demon.co.uk/taxi.html

This is a very nice budget hotel in Bloomsbury where I stayed. The decor is fairly alarming (my bed had a bright orange chenille bedspread!), but the place is spotlessly clean, centrally located and very friendly. The owner actually called me in the states from London to tell me that my money belt (which I had lost right before I left) had been found by a student and turned into the police). Breakfasts were huge and delicious, and there is a lovely private garden in back (along with a TV lounge on the ground floor). There are no private bathrooms, however.
