Amtrak operates frequent train service between New York City and Washington DC.  It’s about a 3 hour ride, so you could make a day trip from one city to the other. >After that I’m going to Atlanta. >It seems that all teh flights to Atlanta are allready full !!! >Can anyone give me advice of what’s the best way to get there ?

Hello everybody, This dutchman will spend his 5-week holiday in the USA in july 1996. I’ll fly to New York or Washington. Can somebody give me information about a youth-hostel in New-York ? There I have about 5 days to do some sightseeing there. After that I’m going to Atlanta. It seems that all teh flights to Atlanta are allready full !!! Can anyone give me advice of what’s the best way to get there ? Car, motorbike ? Maby you know a company that brings me by airplane to Atlanta, of course, not to expensive !!! I intend to stay in Atlanta for about one week to see the Olympic judotournament. After that I have 3 weeks to go to the west-coast. Don’t know how yet, but maby you have some advice there too. I’m travelling alone, wanna meet some nice people. So, no fancy hotels if possible. Thanks in advance, greetings, menno-pnm
