Depends on times. If you go for what they call early bird parking it is approx $14 for the day in before 9 out after4 or 4:30. Hourly parking is real expensive so I would not recomend this. Some of the outlying places have street parking. This is not a bad option as the transport into Syd is not that expensive and the time to/ fromthe city not unreasonable. Can anyone recommend a Sydney Backpacker accomodation with parking? The closer to the city center the better. Alternatively, about how much per day does parking cost in Sydney? TIA Before you buy.

I’ll be driving from Sydney to Melbourne, so I have a "minimum day" requirement on the car rental. I expect to use the car at least one day to go to the Blue Mts. I expect the car to sit in parking for a couple days while visiting the city center sites. Would prefer parking included at or near by budget accommodations if possible. Sydney Central Youth Hostel has very limited parking but it can be had – you must book it in advance however. Good luck. Chris.
