Question:

We get in to Reykajavik at 3:20 in the afternoon  on June 3 and must be back at the airport by 6:00 am the following morning. Any suggestions where to stay and how to do the transfers. Youth hostels are fine just can’t quite figure out how to get from Keflavik and back. Any information will be appreciated.

Getting from Keflavik to the city is very easy: There is a bus that picks you up right outside the terminal. It goes by the name of "FlyBus" and costs 1,700 ISK (there is an ATM in the arrival area, close to the luggage pickup). The ride takes about 40 minutes, and the person who sells the tickets on board will ask you which hotel you are going to. The bus stops at the domestic airport (which is located downtown), and there will be a couple of vans there, taking passengers to the different hotels. Bjorn Before you buy.

Response:

You can get on the "fly bus" outside the airport.  The bus driver will drop at the hostel.  By the way, you can sign your name at the help desk of the hostel.  Then a "fly bus" will pick you up on the next day. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> We get in to Reykajavik at 3:20 in the afternoon on June 3 and must be >back > at the airport by 6:00 am the following morning.
