HI all. I am looking for some advice. Next June I will be attending a congerence in Warsaw. I am looking for some reccomendations of good priced accomodation in this city. So far all I have been able to find on the web are around $250.00 US. It does not have to be 5 star but also not into hostel type accomodation. Thanks for your help in advance, Garry

How about Gromada Hotel, next to the airport? http://www.polhotels.com/warsz/Gromada/ Prices from $80. Or if you prefer to stay in the city center/centre, try: Orbis Europejski, Orbis Grand or MDM Hotel – all of them (and more) listed on http://www.polhotels.com/ MJ

Garry, Look into the Hotel Saski. Decent old hotel. Good staff, clean rooms, good restaurant. Central, about a $3 cab ride from the train station. Two years ago it was $30/night for a single.
