Hotels FAQ » Hostel » Prague and London Recommendations
Question:
From what I have heard, Prague is an inexpensive city to visit. Along with inexpensive, however, often comes grimey accommodations. As such, I was wondering if anyone can reccommend a lower priced yet attractive hotel in Prague. We are looking for a place that is inside the city, not a hostel (but also not the Waldorf), inexpensive, and perhaps with air conditioning (okay, maybe I went too far with the a/c). From what I have heard, Prague is a beautiful city where one can save money, eat well, and sleep in a nice place. I would hate to miss out. Also, any recommendations on places to go in prague would be greatly appreciated. For our trip to London we are also looking for the same type of hotel. Although I’ve heard London is more expensive, apparently there are deals to be found. Thank you all very much. Any replies would be great.

Just stayed at the Expres Pension in Prague. Located in old town area, on a slightly seedy, though perfectly clean, street (there’s a couple bars and strip joints). But the place is very clean and the room was pretty nice, good breakfast is delivered to room, owners speak fluent English. There is a bar close by, so ask for a room on the top floor facing the courtyard area and you should be fine. This is what we had and it was very quiet. -Doug
