Hotels FAQ » Hostel » Need Hotel in a good location in London

Question:

Another site worth looking at : www.london-uk.co.uk The where to stay guide has a good selection of affordable places to stay. All within central London. Other posters have already mentioned the best locations. I would add that there are good affordable places Near Oxford St and Marble Arch. This would put you near the West End.

Response:

Why not just stay in WestEnd then (as opposed to staying in Bloomsbury, what you recommended)?  I’m looking for a hostel in central London, where I can go to most attractions quickly, and cheaply!  Since i’m only planning to stay 3 full days there!  Please recommend an area and cheap <clean> hostel! Thanks Tina

Bloomsbury, Bayswater, Earls Court and Victoria have the greatest concentrations of hotels in central London. I would recommend Bloomsbury – it’s within walking distance of the West End (entertainment for all ages!) and is a much more attractive area than the others.
