Mountain Equipment Coop is based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. They are well thought of. I do not believe their brand of gear is sold through other retailers. Mountain Equipment Coop is online at www.mec.ca – type bivy into the search window on the upper right, or just browse around.

Hi Lucinda, Just read your message. I tried the link those other guys gave you (www.mec.ca) and I looked all through their site. Though they had some decent gear, I couldn’t find your Double Hoop Bivi. Anyway, I have just gone onto www.google.com and done a search for "Double Hoop Bivi" and the first result it gave was a site called: www.cheaptents.com Anyway, I had a quick look round their site and found your bivi and their prices seemed reasonable. Is this what you were after? Micky

maybe ‘Mountain Range’ not ‘Mountain Equipment’ if so Youth Hostel shops sell them (I see you are posting with a UK email) – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text ->Hi, >I recently read an excellent review of the Double Hoop Bivi which is >made by Mountain Equipment. Searching online with an incorrect name would certainly make it difficult to find things. Happy trails, Gary (net.yogi.bear) at the 51st percentile of ursine intelligence Gary D. Schwartz, Needham, MA, USA Please reply to: garyDOTschwartzATpoboxDOTcom

Hi, I recently read an excellent review of the Double Hoop Bivi which is made by Mountain Equipment. I was looking round a few on-line stores but had difficulty finding one. Can anyone recommend a good place to get one from? Or does anyone have one which they want to sell second hand if I can’t find one?, Thanks, Lucinda

Can anybody help me? I’m desperately looking for the address of Mountain Equipment. I want to buy some gear and I don’t want to depend on the German Exclusive Importer. Thanx a lot Rainer
