A great hostel and general travel website I use is www.bootsnall.com They seem to have a pretty comprehensive list of hostels and allow you to book a reservation online. I stayed at the City of London hostel which is located across from St. Paul’s and the underground stop of that name. Also a very good busline is very close by. You can reserve online. Beds are about 22GBP, there is a big free breakfast, laundry, and cheap meals in a cafeteria.

You might be able to find suitable online bookable accomodation at www.superbreak.com They are very repturable and used by all the travel agents in the uk.
