Hotels FAQ » Hostel » hostels in Viena

Question:

Hi, I just booked open jaw ticket to fly down to Vienna and then return back to Canada from UK. Since this is all a last minute decision (I got the okay to take time off from work just very recently:) I am not sure if I am going to run into problems finding a hostel. To all those who have traveled around this region, I need your help. Can some one tell me if I am going to have trouble finding a hostel (arriving their on Sep 25)? also, if not hostels, where can I find decent accommodation for a decent price? I am planning on visiting Vienna, Prague, Budapest and then UK in 35 days. I am not interested in spending no more than 3 days in UK. If any one has gone to these places, please tell me what places you think should not be missed (I am an arts freak!) and what routes is best to take. sorry for the long mail. Thanks a million in advance…. cheers, apkesh

Response:

Well, if classical music is among the arts you are "freakish" about, I’d say a visit to the Staatsoper in Vienna would be an absolute MUST!  (Even if you don’t attend a performance, most famous opera houses offer "backstage tours" a few days a week, so I assume they do, too – and it really is well-worth seeing!)   – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – > Hi, > I just booked open jaw ticket to fly down to Vienna and then return back to > Canada from UK.
