Question:
Ready for the dumbest question you have been asked today? I am trying to book at a hostel in Venice for me and my girlfriend, where my choices are: Private/Shared Room No of People: If I select a private room for 2 people, does that mean i’ll get two single beds or one double/queen size bed? If it is two single beds, how could I suggest that I require a queen/double size bed Thanks in advance Corey

Most rooms have two single beds, which they push together and make up as a queen- or king-sized bed if you want a double bed. To tell them you want a double bed, ask for "un letto matrimoniale". However, usually they ask you which you want when you make the reservation. Barbara
