I think what you’re looking for is Durty Nellie’s, which is an Irish bar at Warmoesstraat 115-117, Amsterdam (tel:020-6380125) that has some rooms upstairs. I’ve not stayed there but I had several meals (and a lot of Guinness) and listened to some music at Durty Nellie’s when I was in Amsterdam a few years ago. The bar is right next to the Winston Hotel, Warmoesstraat 129, which has a Web site at http://www.winston.nl. (I stayed at the Winston.) Warmoesstraat is right behind the bourse and on the edge of the infamous Amsterdam red-light district.
