Well, it’s around US$80,-. >A word of advice: >It is impossible to find cheap hotels in Hong Kong.
I was quite lucky last year, when I stayed at the Holiday Inn Golden Mile, centrally on Nathan’s Road, Kowloon – oppositre of the Hyatt Regency. I paid a TA rate of HK$575 and got a very good 5-* single room on the executive floor, with about 15 free magazines, and an extra table-water-faucet. Unfortunately the best rate I can get there now is $895 – anyone got any better deals? Sven —- http://www.sec.de/sectravel/

You said you want cheap accomodations ? I would recommend the Booth Lodge (Operated by Salvation Army) They have clean hotel style rooms in the heart of Kowloon. About $600.00 HKD a night. (about $100-200 US ?) A word of advice: It is impossible to find cheap hotels in Hong Kong. Some hotels go as high as $25,000.00 a night.(about 500-600 US) (Penninsula Hotel & Island Shangari La) If you want to consider Booth Lodge here is the address. Booth Lodge 11 Wing Sing Lane (Near Nathan Road) Yau Ma tei, Kowloon Hong Kong Tel: 011-852-2771-9266 (if you call from HK it is 2771-9266) This place is a short walk from the Yau Ma Tei Subway station, which you can easily catch a train to Central Hong Kong.

: You said you want cheap accomodations ? There is also the Salsbury Hotel in Kowloon. It’s right across from the Star Ferry terminal which can take you to Hong Kong Island. It’s operated by the YMCA. There’s actually a hostel/dorm on the first 3 floors, and then hotel rooms on the floors above it. I just called them when I arrived in Hong Kong. The price is approximately $120.00 (US) per night. It’s not bad considering the location. (It’s right next to the Peninsula Hotel) — Felix Rainier Villatuya "Life is not at all that bad my friend"
