Hi I will be in Athens towards the end of February. I am looking for cheap but clean lodgings for a few nights close to a major railway station. Cheers Rats

The Aphrodite Inn is normally your best bet but it is usually closed in Winter. However the owner runs a year-round hostel the Students’ & Travellers’ Inn in Plaka that is my best recommendation. We stayed at the Hotel Oscar just across from the main train station. Can recommend without question. http://www.one-world.net/hotels/oscar/oscar.htm
