My wife and I are planning to go to Sydney in June. Could someone please advise on budget accomodation in Sydney. Must be clean and cheap (no dormitories). Is the YHA good?/Is there a YWCA/hostels? How much is the transport from airport to Sydney? Thanks.

Hello Ekloi, we’ve been to Sydney in January this year. We have stayed at YHA Glebe Point which was one the best youth hostels in Australia (so they say). They had double room with shower/toilet en suite and a fridge. They closed it down shortly after because they built a new, bigger hostel in the centre of the city. This new hostel is supposed to be even better but I can’t tell from my experience.
