Hotels FAQ » Hostel » amsterdam hotels to recommend?

Question:

You can view a list of many hotels & check availability / prices by e-mail response on www.hotelnet.nl I have used them twice & found them reliable.  You can select your chosen preferences & search.  (Tip – clicking "Pensions" on the right frame gives a list of cheaper options & includes those sometimes called "Budget Hotels"  I stayed at "ABBA" on Overtoom near Vondelpark / Museums & Leidesplein.  It looks a dump on the outside, but, although basic it’s clean with a good breakfast buffet & the staff are friendly.  It costs 75 Guilders in high season for a single , although I paid 100 NLG at New Year – that’s the Millenium factor! Enjoy your trip. Steve.   "chris"

We went to Amsterdam late last year and stayed at the Flying Pig Backpackers hostel.  It is very central and not bad for the money.  You can book online, the web address is www.flyingpig.nl * Sent from AltaVista http://www.altavista.com Where you can also find related Web Pages, Images, Audios, Videos, News, and Shopping.  Smart is Beautiful

A few years ago we stayed at the Concert Inn hotel. Very nice family run place. It was recommended by the people from my company there. They do have a web site.
