My friend and I will be visiting Brisbane at the end of April. We are looking for a cheap place to stay for about 10 days. We both are in the USA navy.

Don’t know just how cheap you want — but I think a couple of blokes in the USA Navy looking for a fun place to stay right in the centre of Brisbane could do no better than the Palace Backpackers hostel http://www.palacebackpackers.com.au/index.htm I understand that it is developing quite a reputation among the backpacker set as being a fun place .
