Question:

We’re going to Europe in June and will be spending a little time in Amsterdam. Reasonable hotel recommendations? How do we get from Amsterdam back to London by rail?   Seems it’d be best to get to Brussells and then Eurostar to London? Any advice would be appreciated. G., Atlanta, Ga.

The Eurostar is by rail the best option I think (London Waterloo Station). Or you can take a train from Amsterdam to Hoek van Holland, where you can take a ferry to Harwhich and a train to London. (Liverpool Str Station). For hotels it
