if you do not want a city centre place there are motel type places at Aust on the M48 (Severn View, adjacent to the original Severn Bridge) and Gordano Services on the M48 there is a Travel Inn in the city centre and three on the outskirts http://www.travelinn.co.uk/index2.html — R1150GS via CBR600FX, TDM850/VFR750/NX650/GS125ES
