You might want to post the address or at least the neighborhood of the Instituto International (a pretty common name) that your girlfriend is studying at….then we can make some suggestions ;-)

Response:

Oops, yes the address might be useful. I need a relatively cheap hotel/hostel near the Instituto Internacional at Calle Miguel Angel 8.  I believe this is in the Chamberi neighborhood. Any help is appreciated! -Rob – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text ->Hello everybody, >I will be traveling to Madrid from around Sept 15th to Sept 25th or so >to visit my girlfriend. Hello everybody, I will be traveling to Madrid from around Sept 15th to Sept 25th or so to visit my girlfriend. She is starting her graduate studies at the Instituto Internacional (NYU program). Anyways, does anybody have any recommendations for a reasonably priced hostal or even a apartment style (studio) hotel for those 10 nights? I am looking to spend between 2500-7500 ptas per night (so 10 night total of no more than $400 U.S.) I might be convinced to go a little higher if the place is really nice. :) Thanks! Fast Bob
