Question:
What’s the best place to stay in Milan? Something clean, middle-priced, centrally located would be wonderful.
Response:
The Jolly Hotel should do nicely. Richard

There are many hotels in the area around the Central Station. I’ve stayed a couple of times in the Hotel Bernina in Via Napo Torriani – some years ago now, so I can’t comment on its present prices or value for money. Whether this is "central" is a moot point, but it is certainly close to a station serving two of the three metro lines and to many bus and tram lines. Alan Harrison
Response:
Check out the internet rates for the Brera hotels. Last year I got a rate of about US$85 at the Carlyle Brera, less than half the cheapest regular rate. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> What’s the best place to stay in Milan? Here are a few that I regularily send friends to. They are are centrally located, (either Monte Napo or the Castello area) and have character and are relatively cheap. Hotel Cairoli Hotel Manzoni Hotel Gran Duca diYork www.virgilio.it also has links to Milan hotel listings under viaggi I think.
