could anyone help me in getting good accommadation in sydney/cairns and the gold coast for November and also the best way to travel to each destination starting and finishing in sydney . I would be mostly interested in bed and breakfast/ hotel .

November on the Gold Coast is very much the "off- season". People are waiting for their holidays over the Christmas period. In fact, the off- season goes almost right up to Christmas day. During this low time, you will find a lot of cheap hotel, motel and apartment accomodation. All you have to do is come here and you will see it. No need to book !! What you will need however is a car — the Gold Coast covers a very large area from Coolangatta to Southport.
