We (4) will be in Cancun in July. I am looking for info/websites on cost of 1. airport-hotel transfers (bus, taxi) 2. day trips to tulum, xel-ha etc. 3. local bus trips around town Are reservations needed for daytrips before we leave, or can be bought there? Thanks. -Mark Sabatini

Wife and I returned in April. Private Taxi from airport direct to hotel = $40.00USD Private taxi from hotel to airport = $18.00USD Shuttle Service in 15 passenger van = $8USD with multiple stops along the way Personally I would rather travel in a taxi alone, so the $58.00 was worth it round trip…On internet, the round trip prices are around $80.00USD

Local bus fare around town is dirt cheap. I was there in 1998 and I think we rode the bus for about 45cents. You simply tell the driver where you’re going and they will stop. 6 Pesos for the bus. Basically runs from Club Med to downtown Cancun all the time.
