The is a shuttle which costs $10. For two a taxi costs about 10% more. When traveling alone I take the shuttle. With my wife we take a taxi. They would only sell round trip tickets (US$20) when I was through there last week. Good service, quick and convenient. —

You can also use the Jefferson Transit route E2 – Airport Downtown Express. The bus operates from the airport direct to downtown New Orleans via Tulane Avenue everyday of the week from approximately 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (with additional service until 11:30 p.m. to the New Orleans city line – change there for a city bus to downtown New Orleans). Buses run every 22-23 minutes (every 40 minutes on Sunday).
