Sure, if you want to spend 2 hours on a shuttle bus. -Dan Before you buy.

I doubt that you can find an airport hotel at JFK for $30. But why don’t you give priceline.com a try. I had a 6AM flight out of SFO and I got the Airport Marriott Hotel for $35/night and that was a three star hotel. I don’t know what a one star hotel would have cost me. But remember to use the Priceline.com free bonus money offers. Check out Sheryl’s forum on Priceline for free money offers before you bid. Another idea was to find a hotel or motel somewhere along the JFK Flyer route if it gets to the JFK in plenty time for your flight. Ira Zimmerman

I’ve never taken it myself but I can’t imagine the shuttle bus takes that long to get from the Howard Beach station to the airport. (Besides, the poster is coming from New Jersey. Unless they extended the A train over the GWB while I wasn’t looking, my advice won’t help him.) — David J. Greenberger Department of Computer Science, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

I have to take a morning flight from JFK, but there’s no way for me to get there early enough to make the flight. Is there any place in JFK airport where I can sleep the night before (without costing more than $30)? I don’t really want to sleep on the floor or in uncomfortable chair. Before you buy.
Response:
No – but try Sher…, I mean Priceline

Actually, from middle of New Jersey! I can get to Penn Station by bus and train, or I can take an "Airporter Bus" (but not from anywhere near my house), but it’s a long, long way.
